OUR HISTORY
In 1999, Sylvia Boaz founded the Balletiquette Dance School. As a way to showcase and serve the community, Balletiquette created a non-profit performing company, Balletiquette Dance Theatre Company, in 2004. Every year, the studio performs a school show in locations across the San Diego County. Our repertoire includes Giselle, Coppélia, The Nutcracker, Le Sylphide, and much more. Balletiquette Dance Theatre Co.'s background has been rooted in providing performance opportunities for young children, turning ordinary dancers into extraordinary dancers!
Guided by the belief that pilates is a strong compliment to ballet, Mrs. Sylvia expanded the studio by adding a Pilates Studio as well as another small dance studio in 2008. Balletiquette's main focus is Ballet and Pilates, however, the studio also provides a variety of dance styles offered to a diverse clientele of all ages and cultures. Balletiquette's pilates instructors are trained in STOTT Pilates.

At Balletiquette we strive to hire individuals who have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. We encourage excellence and professionalism in each class while staying personal and connected to our community. Every teacher has something diverse to offer, providing more opportunity for learning, growing, and succeeding!
OUR FACILITIES
At Balletiquette we are lucky to have a beautiful facility. Two dance studios with sprung floors, Marley and Oak Ballet barres. One Pilates studio equipped with four Reformers, one Cadillac, one Chair, one Treadmill and more. We also have a small dance wear shop, shower, massage room, and a deck with a beautiful view!
